Zan Mohsin

Zan Mohsin is the current president of Phi Chi! Previously serving as secretary, Zan is extremely excited to begin his new role! Zan is majoring in Biology, health, and Spanish Language. Outside of Phi Chi, he works in the Goforth Lab, studying the role of orexin 1 receptors in food intake and metabolism. He also is the founder of the Parkinsons Pals organization at UofM, connecting Michigan students with people with Parkinson’s disease. In addition, he tutors for Bio 225 and is always eager to help students with physiology. Aside from professional life, Zan loves to spend time with friends and is always down for a sweet treat. This summer, Zan spent his time studying for the MCAT but also had some fun at the jersey shore!
Ilana Ravindra

Ilana Ravindra is a junior and served as a philanthropy chair, and is currently serving as Phi Chi’s Secretary. Ilana is studying public health and is interested in pursuing a career in pediatrics, gynecology, or dermatology. Ilana is involved in anesthesia research at the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center helping patients combat chronic pain. Her other involvements on campus include the Michigan Healthcare Business Club and Global Surgery Student Alliance. She enjoys going for sushi and boba dates with friends, running, yoga, being a tourist, and shopping.
Lily Barber

Lily is a junior with a deep passion for reproductive justice and a long-term goal of building a career in healthcare that prioritizes equity, access, and patient-centered care. She is especially interested in the ways systemic barriers impact reproductive health, and hopes to be part of creating lasting change within the medical field. Outside of her academic interests, Lily finds joy in art, music, and meaningful conversations, and values spending quality time with her friends—especially during long walks.
